About Us
CEOx1Day is a student leadership development program, providing career insights and executive networking opportunities to high potential talent. Finalists earn a full day of mentorship with one of North America's top CEOs.
Founded over a decade ago by Odgers, the CEOx1Day Program provides ambitious second-, third-, and fourth-year undergraduate students an opportunity to connect with some of North America's most impressive CEOs and CHROs. The program mimics a modern job search process, giving applicants valuable skills that extend throughout their careers. These benefits include learning first-hand from executives, receiving a leadership assessment, and interviewing and networking experience.
Over 250 organizations have participated in North America including: Walmart, Lockheed Martin, Mastercard, Roche Pharmaceuticals, Bell Media, Bombardier, Purolator, Knix, Indspire, and Amnesty International. You can view the entire list here.
For the 2026-27 program, we’re thrilled to expand our North American reach – adding New York City and Boston to the list of regions including Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver, and Washington, DC.
The CEOx1Day Program is looking for students who have demonstrated leadership on campus and in their communities, and who want to make an impact.

Benefits of Participating
- Direct Access to Executives: Finalists will have the opportunity to get a firsthand look at what a day in the life of a CEO is like.
- Professional networking exposure: Finalists will have the opportunity to network with participating CEOs and CHROs from prestigious organizations, ambitious peers from top North American schools, and Odgers executive search and leadership development experts.
- Practical career management advice: Finalists will hear from current CEOs and CHROs about how they managed their careers, what challenges they overcame, and what they are looking for in high potential talent.
- Internship consideration: Finalists will have an opportunity to be considered by Odgers for a summer internship or full-time placement after they have graduated.
- Deep insights into personal leadership skills: Semi-Finalists will have the opportunity to receive a personalized leadership assessment by Hogan Assessments, as well as a debrief with one of the members in Odgers' Leadership Advisory Practice. The debrief will provide feedback on leadership skills, including relationship-building, goal-setting, and strategic thinking, in addition to potential blind spots and areas of development.
- Job search experience: The rigorous selection process provides valuable skills and experience for future job searches. For Semi-Finalists, this includes speed interviews with Odgers executives.
- Exposure to a Corporate Office Environment: Semi-Finalists will spend a day at one of Odgers' offices located in major downtown areas across North America getting exposure to a professional work environment.
